Our WooCommerce Plugin Got Updated!
In July 2025, we went back into our Mad Cow Customizer for WooCommerce plugin to spiffy things up, as one does from time to time. And we’re excited to share what’s new!
What is the Mad Cow Customizer?
Mad Cow Customizer is a plugin that catalogs all the hooks in WooCommerce and offers a WYSIWYG so you can easily manage the content in your online store.
Why do I need this plugin?
Hooks are a way for one piece of code to interact with or modify another piece of code at specific, pre-defined points. WooCommerce hooks work the same way, but they specifically help you customize your WooCommerce store.
So, what got updated?
- improved tab organization
- updated code to reduce database queries
- added conditionals on the shop page sections for related products and cross-sells
- and a few other things!
